I am neither much of a shopper nor a mall person. I have taken all of my business to Boscovs in Christiana and the Concord Mall were I can shop in peace. I was told that the man that actually owns the mall also owns many of the Keyosks/Booths that I am specifically referring to. I do not experience this with any of the other businesses within Christiana Mall. I have complained to the Customer Service Desk but they are just becoming more aggressive. There has to be at least a dozen of these booths.

I do not honestly care where you are from or look like but they are so obnoxious and relentless in getting your attention to try a skin care product or hair product that I just cannot enjoy my shopping experience. They tend to look and sound foreign (dark hair and olive skin) with thick accents which is fine, Has anyone else reading this been approached and or "literally knocked over" by the Keyosk employees within the mall? You know, the little booths in the center as you walk along. I will continue to patron several surrounding stores of the Christiana Mall such as Pier I and Michaels Arts Supplies but will no longer shop within the Christiana Mall itself.

One of note, is the seating area outside of Nordstrom.

There are many nice areas to sit to take break. Overall, the atmosphere is very pleasant and the renovations proved to be very nice. If you don't like crowds, go before 11:30 am on the weekends or during the day on weekdays. It's connected to the mall, so its very accessible to the other stores. I can shop/return items and then hop in to Target to get my groceries and such. Groceries: Target is one of my favorite stores and its arrival to the mall made me very happy. Also, there's shopping center that's only 5 minutes from the mall and includes Old Navy, Boscovs, DSW and soon to be Bed Bath and Beyond all of which are not in the mall. If you'd rather relax and read, head on over to Barnes and Noble near the food court. The mall has a nice variety of stores in various price ranges and is my first place to visit when I need something. Shopping: The flagship stores are Macy's, JcPenney's and new comer Nordstrom. There's also a food court, which just added a Thai eatery. The only downside is that most of these restaurants are only accessible from outside, therefore you have to go outside the mall to get to them if you had been in the mall. Expect a wait unless you go right before the lunch or dinner rush. The most visited seems to be the Cheesecake Factory. My visits had been few and far inbetween, but now I visit regularly to dine with friends/family and shop for luxuries and groceries.ĭining: There's at least 6 restaurants in the mall, most of which are accessible with there own entrance, so you don't have to go into the mall if you choose. The Christiana Mall has changed significantly for the better in the past few years.
